Who handles your information?

UKFHS is operated by UKSAPS, 6a Melbourn Street, Royston, SG8 7BZ. You can contact us about your information at info@uksaps.co.uk.

What we collect and why

When you ask for a quotation, we collect your name, email address, project description and the page you enquired from. Phone number and company name are optional. If you email drawings, we also receive those and any details in your message. We use this information to respond, scope the assessment, prepare a quotation and, if instructed, deliver the agreed service. Where you are the prospective client, our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract or performing that contract. Where you represent a business, we also rely on our legitimate interest in responding to its enquiry and managing the project relationship. Required form fields are needed to respond to your request; there is no legal obligation to send us an enquiry.

Who receives it?

The enquiry is stored in this WordPress website and sent to the UKSAPS quotation team. GoDaddy hosts the website; the Forminator plugin processes the form; Microsoft Outlook handles the team mailboxes. These providers may process information outside the UK under their applicable data protection terms and transfer safeguards. You can ask us for details of the safeguards relevant to your information. We share project information with specialist service partners only where needed for a service you request.

Drawings and retention

The quotation form does not currently accept drawing uploads. If you choose to email drawings, they are received in the UKSAPS team mailbox. Website form submissions are configured for automatic deletion after 12 months. UKSAPS also applies a 12-month retention period to unsuccessful quotation emails and drawings in Outlook; this mailbox cleanup is managed by the team. If you instruct us, project records may be kept longer where needed to deliver the service, deal with queries or meet legal and accounting obligations. Provider backups may take additional time to cycle out.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access or correct your information, request deletion or restriction where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact info@uksaps.co.uk to exercise your rights. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We do not add you to a marketing list simply because you requested a quotation. We do not use automated decisions to determine whether to quote. Technical hosting logs and essential cookies may be used to operate and protect the site. If we add optional analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this notice and provide the appropriate choice.
