What Drawings Are Needed for SAP Calculations?
Practical guidance for residential projects in England.
A useful quotation starts with a clear project picture. You can approach UKSAPS before every specification is final, provided assumptions and drawing revisions are labelled.
At quotation stage
Send the site address and brief, site/location plan, current floor plans, elevations and sections with dimensions, dwelling count and type, planning/building-control stage and expected programme. For a multi-plot site, add a plot or house-type schedule.
For the assessment
The assessor may need construction build-ups, window and door schedules, glazing, thermal-bridge strategy, ventilation design, heating and hot-water system, controls and renewable generation proposals. Ask which details are needed now and which can follow. Send revisions when the design changes.
If your drawings are incomplete
Share what you have and list the open decisions. UKSAPS can say whether it can quote now or needs more information. Submit your project details through the quotation form, then email your drawings to info@uksaps.co.uk with your name and project postcode. Drawing upload on this site is temporarily unavailable.
Request a quote and email drawings.
